Electrical Engineer
OSENG are looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their team. The role will be primarily office based but it will involve site visits and attending meeting depending on the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Electrical Services design for a range of projects from concept stage to completion
- Liaise with clients, architects and project managers
- Design and specification of electrical services for various types of buildings and sectors
- Production of detailed Schematics
- Develop the electrical design standards within the organisation
- Mentoring of junior engineering staff
- Provide fully detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on site until project completion
- Tender report / analysis / recommendations
- Develop project scope with design team / client
- Produce budgets and reports for clients
- The role will be primarily office based but will involve some site attendances
- Be capable of taking the lead on projects with minimal input from management team
- Assist in gathering field related information for projects or specific tasks
- Ability to identify electrical equipment requirements
- Vendor / Contractor management
- Estimation for small electrical projects
- Work on the electrical design services for a range of projects
- Design and specification of electrical services for various types of projects across a range of buildings and facilities
- Ability to provide fully detailed designs for tender packages, both on time and schedule
- Be capable of working autonomously
Requirements:
- Minimum degree-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in bio/pharmaceutical, or similar environment.
- Experience with electrical design is necessary.
Knowledge of ATEX directives, ETCI wiring regulations, IEC and EN standards. - Strong communication skills
- Ability to co-ordinate contractors
- Ability to be the lead Engineer on projects from inception to completion
- Have a strong ability of liaising with clients, architects, PM’s
- Specification and design of electrical services across a variety of projects
- Good at working in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM, Amtech, Dialux skills required. Don’t need to be an expert but skills in the software would help

Building Services Engineer
OSENG are looking for a Building Services Engineer to join their team. The role will be primarily office based but it will involve site visits and attending meeting depending on the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of tenders.
- Preparation and review of preliminary designs and reports using a variety of computer packages and subsequent preparation of detailed design drawings and specifications.
- Preparation of Preliminary and Contract Drawings using a range of packages
- Working closely with a Senior Engineer or Associate to provide advice, project monitoring and performance specification advice for current projects.
- Supporting the team providing technical support and maintenance management duties.
- Meet target KPIs on WIP management.
- Adherence to Health & Safety procedures.
- Completing System Walkdowns and generation of P&ID on existing facilities.
- Preparation of pricing schedules and Bills of Quantities.
- Administration of the construction contracts to ensure that design requirements, project schedules and project budget are achieved.
- Coordination and liaison with Clients and Regulatory Agencies
Requirements:
- Degree or MSc in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years’ experience in similar role
- Excellent report writing and communication skills are required and the ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal (English) communication.
- AutoCAD 2D and 3D will be a basic requirement.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills together with Teamwork and Leadership.
- Capacity to develop skills in the use of Building Information Modelling
- Working knowledge of the following building services is essential:
- Electrical Distribution.
- Air Conditioning Systems, including VRV, VAV, Chilled Water Systems (as well as knowledge of older and less common systems) and Heating Systems
- Controls and BMS.
- Fire Alarms, Security and Access Systems.
- Lifts (as far as expected from an M&E point of view).
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Work, Excel, Outlook, etc) and AutoCAD
- Previous consulting and contracting experience would be an advantage

BIM/CAD Engineer
OSENG are looking for a BIM Engineer to join their team. The role will be primarily office based but it will involve site visits and attending meeting depending on the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with a Senior Engineer or Associate to provide advice, project monitoring and performance specification advice for current projects.
- Supporting the team providing technical support and maintenance management duties.
- Prepare designs and pricings for projects utilising Auto CAD.
- Liaise with customers providing technical expertise on design aspects of projects.
- Liaise with clients as well as other members of the design team
- Other duties may be required for this role not mentioned above.
- Meet target KPIs on WIP management.
- Adherence to Health & Safety procedures.
- Completing System Walkdowns and generation of P&ID on existing facilities.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years’ experience in similar role
- Excellent written and verbal (English) communication.
- AutoCAD 2D and 3D will be a basic requirement.
- Experience working as a CAD Technician or similar role is required
- Must be proficient in CAD/Revit software
